Klickitat County is located in South central Washington State, on the northern border of the Columbia River. The county is nestled between Mt. Adams and Mt. Hood towards the western border, and ranges from temperate forests and alpine meadows to high prairie and desert.
I've been playing around in this area since I was a kid, and for the last five years have called it home. There are 1,904 square miles that make up Klickitat County, so really, these 23 photos barely scratch the surface! I love exploring in this area, I hope that joy comes through in these images, and maybe you'll feel inspired to come and do some of your own exploring.

Oh these are great. You have "the eye" indeed.
The prairie road, 2 young oaks and sand ripples should be framed and mounted in a boutique hotel!
